On 09-Sep-2023, THV Galatea sailed up the River Thames into the Pool of London. THV Galatea is operated by Trinity House, an ancient authority who are responsible for navigation marker buoys and lighthouses around the coasts of England, Wales and Gibraltar.
The Scottish equivalent of Trinity House is the Northern Lights Board and for the whole of the island of Ireland, the Commissioners of Irish Lights. NLV Pharos has also visited London.
The headquarters of Trinity House is in London, overlooking the Tower of London, which can be visited when public tours are run.
