The Mercedes Atego is the base on which Emergency One build the current generation of fire appliances for London Fire Brigade.
The Mark Three Pump is the workhorse of London Fire Brigade sent to every shout (call) to handle everything from fires, to road traffic collisions, to rescues, to chemical spills and plenty more besides.
LFB have lots of other different types of fire engine for specialist tasks such as specialist rescue units, really tall ladders and even boats. If you see a fire appliance threading its way through traffic, a lot of the time it will be a Pump off to an emergency.
