On 6th December 2022, LMS “Black Five” 44871 brought The Railway Touring Company’s “Sherborne Christmas Carol” back to London Victoria.
46115 “Scots Guardsman” In West London
On Saturday 25th November 2023, LMS Royal Scot Class steam locomotive 46115 “Scots Guardsman” (in British Railways green) visited London Paddington.
The train passed through Hanwell in West London and then on to its destination, London Paddington. The “Capital Christmas Express”, operated by the Railway Touring Company, had come from Chester via Wrexham.

Once passengers had disembarked at Paddington, the train was hauled back to Southall where there is a steam engine shed to service the steam engines before heading back to London Paddington to pickup the passengers and then back to Chester.
