Steam Tug Portwey

Built in 1927, Portwey is a preserved steam powered tug that is taken care of by a dedicated band of volunteers at their base in West India Dock.

A few times a year the volunteers light the boilers and raise steam to take a cruise up the River Thames or visit a boat show as an exhibit.
