2019 Cardboard Guildhall
In 2019 the French artist Olivier Grossetête managed a huge team of volunteers to build a replica of the City of London’s Guildhall – in cardboard. The building blocks of the replica were fabricated in the Barbican exhibition space and then put together in Guildhall Yard, right in front of the Medieval Guildhall building.
The finale of the event was the toppling of the construction.
