Remembrance Poppies At The Tower Of London In 2025
“Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red” is a new installation of the famous ceramic poppies, first seen at the The Tower of London in 2014 marking the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
Now 30,000 poppies, designed and made by Paul Cummins, have returned in a new installation designed by Tom Piper to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
The poppies spill over the fortifications of the White Tower to the ground where they run down through the fortress’ grounds and through Traitors’ Gate to the River Thames.
