2018 HCVS London to Brighton
Every year, the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society’s London to Brighton run for vintage buses and lorries which have been lovingly restored by their members.
Unlike the more famous Veteran Car Run, the HCVS starts from Crystal Palace in South London early in the morning with the vehicles shining in the early morning sunshine. Pulling out of the park the vehicles have a tough start going up a very steep hill with the engines operating at full power making a great noise, especially the steam powered vehicles.
The Historic Commercial Vehicles Society London to Brighton run happens annually with a couple of recent exceptions.
