Rolling Thunder Ride Of Respect

On 7th April 2023 (Good Friday), Rolling Thunder held the “Ride of Respect” in memory of HM Queen Elizabeth II who passed away in 2022.

The ride started in Windsor and then rode to London to meet at the rendezvous in Northumberland Avenue.

The name Rolling Thunder hints at the rumble made by the many hundreds of motorbikes taking part. 787 bikes were counted at Windsor.

At 15:15, with a Police escort, the ride departed along Whitehall, passing the Cenotaph, Downing Street and Parliament.

Rolling Thunder is a British organisation which campaigns to support, and raise awareness of, HM Forces Veterans facing court cases arising from their UK military service in Northern Ireland many years ago.
