“Peace Doves” at Rochester Cathedral
From 11th February to 16th April 2023, Rochester Cathedral is hosting “Peace Doves” by Peter Walker.
Having previously been exhibited in Liverpool, Lichfield, Derby and Sheffield, it is now on display at Rochester Cathedral, a place of Christian worship since 604AD.
Each one of the thousands of hand made doves making up the artwork, has an individually handwritten message of peace.
The picture was taken using a 17mm wide angle lens and placing the camera on the floor looking straight up.
